About Ryzin Art

Ryzin Art is a fully artist-owned production studio specializing in creating hard surface art for video games. Established in 2016, driven by a passion for collaboration and purposeful art creation, the Ryzin Art team consistently produces exceptional work. In just six years, the studio has grown to a remarkable team of over 45 artists and has successfully contributed to more than 17 games. Alan Van Ryzin – Founder, Creative Director

Alan Van Ryzin’s journey in 3D art began at the young age of 17, creating video game mods that laid the foundation for his career. Completely self-taught, Alan built his expertise through relentless effort and a passion for creative innovation. With over 20 years in the industry, his fascination with 3D art lies in its ever-evolving nature, where art, science, and technology converge. With over 40 games to his credit, Alan thrives on the challenges of this dynamic medium, consistently refining his skills and pushing creative boundaries. In a remarkably short time, Alan has crafted an incredible team of talented artists at Ryzin Art, fostering a collaborative environment that continues to deliver groundbreaking work for the gaming community.

Benjamin Behr – Production Director

Ben gives meticulous attention to detail on every project we produce; he is a very detail oriented person in general. Ben says that is in fact what he enjoys most about his job, “An exciting aspect of working as a production director is that I am involved in the production process of every asset and I get to work on every project we take on. Most artists work on a single task/project at a time. I also really enjoy working closely with our clients and have met many great people through this job.” In regards to production, Ben feels that “Ryzin Art is constantly improving as a team and as a company and it’s satisfying to see new workflows and strategies turn out successful (on an artistic and on an organizational level).’
